Full Time Job Description
The successful applicant will get to work for a progressive sharemilking couple who are proving to provide a pathway through the dairy industry for young and driven people keen to make dairying a career.
This role has become available due to expansion of our business and the requirement of another labour unit on this farm. This role entails the general duties on a dairy farm, from milking cows to managing weeds and maintaining the cowshed along with stock work. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
You will be part of a team of 4 fulltime staff running the daily tasks of a 1000 cow dairy farm. Various training opportunities through Primary ITO will be available to the right person.
We have a good employment history with our current 2IC being with us for over 4 years and the other 2 staff 2.5yrs and 1 yr respectively.
Employers also had success in the National Sharemilker of the year gaining runner up in 2010.
Accommodation There is a 3yr old 2 bedroom house that is available for this position, it will be shared with another employee.
